Profeta ou vidente
"Temos, assim, tanto mais confirmada a palavra profética, e fazeis bem em atendê-la,
como a uma candeia que brilha em lugar tenebroso, até que o dia clareie e a estrela
da alva nasça em vosso coração" (2 Pe 1.19).
Profecias bíblicas se cumprem sempre, sem exceção. Por isso podemos ter absoluta
confiança nelas. Mas quem confia em adivinhações está perdido!
Só uma coisa é certa a respeito das adivinhações de videntes, astrólogos e cartomantes:
a cada ano se repete o fiasco da falha do seu cumprimento! Praticamente todas as previsões
para 2003 foram falsas. O "Comitê Para a Investigação Científica das Alegações dos
Paranormais" na Alemanha comparou 100 prognósticos com a realidade e verificou que as
explicações posteriores dos adivinhos são completamente contraditórias em relação às
previsões feitas. Muitos de seus prognósticos são formulados de maneira tão vaga que o
exercício da futurologia nem se faz necessário, pois qualquer um de nós poderia fazer
previsões semelhantes usando simplesmente a lógica e o bom senso. As previsões são tão
genéricas que acabam acertando em algum detalhe. Dois exemplos: em dezembro de 2002 um
astrólogo previu "iminente risco de guerra" para o Iraque.[1] O matemático Michael Kunkel
(de Mainz/Alemanha), observou que uma declaração dessas, naquela época, equivalia a afirmar
que o sol iria nascer na manhã seguinte. Relativamente a Israel, um dos prognósticos para
este ano dizia: "Depois de sérios distúrbios, existe a tendência de que no final de 2004
haja um acordo de paz satisfatório, de modo a que ambas as partes tenham interesse em
cumpri-lo". É quase impossível falar de maneira mais genérica. Mas é interessante observar
como as pessoas, que nada querem saber da Bíblia, são enganadas rotineiramente e dão ouvidos
a esse tipo de "profecia" vaga e superficial.
A adivinhação do futuro pode envolver puro e simples engano visando o lucro fácil. Por outro
lado, além do interesse financeiro, a astrologia, por exemplo, tem origem espírita e ocultista,
diretamente inspirada por Satanás e seus demônios. Seja como for, ela sempre é mentirosa,
pecaminosa e de origem diabólica. O reformador Martim Lutero declarou, com razão: "O Diabo
também sabe profetizar – e mente ao fazê-lo".
Em Deuteronômio 18.9-11 está escrito: "Quando entrares na terra que o Senhor, teu Deus, te der,
não aprenderás a fazer conforme as abominações daqueles povos. Não se achará entre ti quem faça
passar pelo fogo o seu filho ou a sua filha, nem adivinhador, nem prognosticador, nem agoureiro,
nem feiticeiro; nem encantador, nem necromante, nem mágico, nem quem consulte os mortos". A Bíblia
com Anotações de Scofield comenta a respeito:
As oito práticas anatematizadas para determinação do futuro são estas: 1. do adivinhador –
os métodos são apresentados em Ez 21.21; 2. do prognosticador – possivelmente referindo-se à feitiçaria
ou astrologia; 3. do agoureiro – aquele que usa prognósticos; 4. do feiticeiro – aquele que faz uso da
magia, de fórmulas ou encantamentos; 5. dos encantadores – Sl 58.4-5; 6. de quem consulta um espírito
adivinhante – veja o número 7; 7. do mágico, geralmente usado com o número 6 – Is 8.19 descreve a prática;
e 8. do necromante – aquele que procura interrogar os mortos. Duas coisas precisam ser mantidas em mente:
1) este mandamento tinha aplicações específicas a Israel que estava entrando na terra; foram feitas para
preservar os israelitas das abominações dos seus predecessores (vv. 9, 12 e 14) e 2) para se perceber
claramente o contraste entre esses falsos profetas e os profetas como Moisés (vv. 15-19)

"So we have a more sure word of prophecy, and you do well to heed,
as to a lamp shining in a dark place, until the day dawns and the star
the dawn rises in your hearts "(2 Peter 1:19).
Biblical prophecies are always fulfill without exception. So we can be absolutely
trust in them. But those who trust in divination is lost!
Only one thing is certain about the riddles of psychics, astrologers and fortune tellers:
each year repeats the fiasco of the compliance failure! Virtually all predictions
for 2003 were false. The "Committee for the Scientific Investigation of Claims of
Paranormal "in Germany compared 100 predictions with reality and found that

predictions. Many of his predictions are formulated so vaguely that
exercise or futurology is necessary because any of us could do
similar predictions simply using logic and common sense. Predictions are that

there is a peace deal, so that both parties have an interest in
stick to it. "It's almost impossible to talk more generally. But it is interesting to note
as people who want to know nothing of the Bible, are routinely cheated and hearken
this kind of "prophecy" vague and superficial.
The divination of the future may involve outright deception aimed easy profit. On the other
side, beyond the financial interest, astrology, for example, has Spiritualist and occult origin,
directly inspired by Satan and his demons. Anyway, she is always lying,
sinful and diabolical origin. The reformer Martin Luther said, rightly: "The Devil
know also prophesy - and mind to do it. "

preserve the Israelites of the abominations of their predecessors (vv. 9, 12 and 14) and 2) to realize
clearly the contrast between these false prophets like Moses and the prophets (vv. 15-19)
